Lagos State Mourn The Passing on of The Central Mosque Chief Imam


The governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode and Bola Tinubu have communicated pity over the sudden passing of the Chief Imam in the state.

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode; the state House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday communicated despondency over the demise of the Chief Imam of Lagos, Sheik Ibrahim Garuba Akinola.

As indicated by Punch Metro, Akinola passed on Sunday in Lagos at 79 years old. Ambode, in a sympathy message marked by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, depicted Akinola’s passing as an extraordinary misfortune to the Muslim people group, the state and the nation all in all.
